Actively care for and support female members

The District Women's Union at all levels mobilized to donate 1,005 gifts (total value of 254 million VND) to members in difficult circumstances on holidays and Tet; mobilized 243 gifts to support children of members who were recruited for military service. The grassroots Women's Unions coordinated to donate more than 1,700 charity meals and necessities to support people in difficult circumstances, total value of more than 90 million VND; promptly visited, encouraged and supported 5 members with serious illnesses, whose houses were burned down; supported the repair of 1 Charity Shelter...

At the same time, the Association at all levels continues to maintain and expand 7 effective economic development models, such as: "Cooperative Group for making traditional cakes", "Cooperative Group for processing garments", "Mobile Women's Cooking Group"... with 72 women participating, income reaching 3-5 million VND/person/month. At the same time, strengthen coordination with functional sectors to support members and women to access loans managed by the Association for production, livestock farming, and small trading. Currently, the whole district has 58 groups borrowing capital from the Social Policy Bank, with 2,969 households borrowing, total capital of over 152 billion VND; effectively maintaining 71 capital contribution groups, with 3,312 members. In the past 5 months, the Association has coordinated to consult, introduce and solve jobs for 316 women...
