Specifically, the three students who won gold medals were: Dang Tuan Anh, a 12th grade student majoring in Biology at Chu Van An High School (Hanoi); Nguyen Tien Loc, a 12th grade student at the High School for the Gifted in Natural Sciences - Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Nguyen Si Hieu, a 12th grade student at Tran Phu High School for the Gifted (Hai Phong). The remaining member was Ho Duc Trung, a 12th grade student at Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted (Thua Thien - Hue), who won a silver medal.

The 35th International Biology Olympiad 2024 will be held in the Republic of Kazakhstan from July 7 to 13. This is the competition with the largest number of participating teams ever, including 81 countries and territories with 320 contestants.
Candidates will undergo 2 official exam days lasting from 6 to 8 hours/day, including 1 day of theory and 1 day of practice. The exam requires candidates to have a good understanding of both theory and practical skills, effectively applying biological knowledge and skills to solve a variety of global problems.
