Ms. Athena Gong, Vice President of Asia and Managing Director of Informa Markets China, assessed Vietnam as one of the most dynamic and potential markets in Asia, where creativity, craftsmanship and technological innovation are creating a clear competitive advantage for businesses.

Therefore, the simultaneous launch of SIUF Vietnam, CBME Vietnam and APLF Vietnam is an important milestone in the journey to connect Vietnam's dynamic industries with the global market.

The exhibition is an opportunity for businesses to meet and seek partners, promote trade in the lingerie, mother and baby fashion industry.

According to the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS), Vietnam is currently one of the three largest textile and garment exporting countries in the world , reaching 44 billion USD in 2024 with more than 7,000 enterprises participating in the global supply chain. At the same time, the domestic mother and baby market will reach 1.8 billion USD in 2024, reflecting the rapidly increasing demand for high-quality, safe and organic products.

Data from VITAS also shows that the lingerie and sportswear segment accounts for 18% of Vietnam’s total apparel value, equivalent to nearly 8 billion USD, in line with the global trend of “healthy and sustainable clothing”. The size of Vietnam’s lingerie market is currently at 450 million USD and could reach 700 million USD by 2033. The domestic lingerie and sportswear market alone is forecast to reach 2 billion USD by 2027.

The exhibition attracted many businesses to come and learn.

VITAS representative commented that the industry's prospects are expanding thanks to new consumption trends, the growth of the middle class and high requirements for traceability (ESG) from the international market. Vietnam is gradually shifting from the original equipment manufacturing (OEM) model to design, manufacture (ODM) and brand development (OBM) to increase added value and be more proactive in the supply chain.

One of the highlights of the event was the SIUF Global Lingerie Conference, attended by B'Lao - Scavi, Corèle Group, FLD Vietnam, Bomsister, Cosmo Lady, Highsun and Aristino. Business representatives shared their international market expansion strategies, trends in functional and sustainable materials and new industry design standards.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Linh, COO of B'Lao - Scavi - Corèle Group, said that the global fashion industry is moving from a price race to a race for responsibility, transparency and value. Notably, the trend of shifting the supply chain from "China + 1" to "China + Vietnam + India + Bangladesh" is opening up a golden opportunity for Vietnam thanks to its stable production capacity, skilled labor and wide FTA system.

“The rise of ‘responsible consumption’ with the requirement to reduce inventory, use recycled materials, save water, apply ZLD and bring production closer to the consumer market to reduce logistics emissions. This is the model that B’Lao - Scavi is aiming for to contribute to building the image of “Responsibly Made in Vietnam”, Mr. Linh added.

With the above potentials and opportunities, SIUF Vietnam 2025 exhibition inherits the experience from SIUF Shenzhen, focusing on introducing the comprehensive ecosystem of lingerie, sportswear, and homewear industries.

Meanwhile, CBME Vietnam 2025 connects the entire mother and baby industry supply chain, from raw materials, production to distribution and retail. A series of specialized seminars with the participation of Webtretho and TikTok for Business analyzes young parents' behavior, health care trends, nutrition and branding strategies in the digital content era.
