On the afternoon of June 30, the Ministry of Science and Technology launched the Vietnam Science and Technology Exchange. This is a model invested and operated in the form of: Public-private partnership, in which the State invests in infrastructure, online exchange platform, sharing science and technology database, policies to support businesses in buying and selling technology through the exchange, ensuring safety, transparency and synchronization and development orientation in the coming time.
Ministry of Science and Technology launched the Exchange.
Currently, the Vietnam Science and Technology Exchange has information on 600 technologies offered for sale in the form of equipment and machinery; 50 technology purchasing needs; 150 technology consultants and brokers. The exchange has the function of supporting organizations, businesses, and individuals to display and introduce technologies and equipment offered for sale through booths.
In the coming time, to continue to perfect the Vietnam Science and Technology Exchange, relevant agencies need to develop additional features: Online technology supply-demand interaction; technology consulting and brokerage; tools for statistical analysis of transaction quantity and value; consulting services on finance, intellectual property, technology transfer; developing, perfecting and connecting to Science and Technology databases, innovation; combining online and direct exchanges.
It is expected that by November 2025, the Vietnam Science and Technology Exchange will officially come into operation.
