Vietnam Airlines releases artistic film about flight safety

In early 2025, Vietnam Airlines will launch a new flight safety video called "Flight in Bloom". The film will be broadcast on the national airline's flights to tens of millions of domestic and international passengers.

Inspired by the skillful hands of artisans in craft villages, the film not only updates aviation safety regulations but also spreads pride in the values and quintessence of Vietnamese craft villages. In the familiar space of the airplane cabin, "Flower Flight" takes passengers to traditional scenes of famous craft villages such as hand embroidery, paper flower making, lanterns or bamboo weaving... Viewers can immerse themselves in cinematic moments and enjoy the process of artisans creating exquisite handmade works. Under the skillful hands of artisans and the unique artistic space, the somewhat rigid flight safety instructions are conveyed in an extremely soft and creative way.

In addition to providing audiences with great visual experiences, Vietnam Airlines also demonstrates its attention to detail when using its own costume collection called "Memories in the Clouds". Designer Vu Viet Ha, who has a passion for traditional materials, chose to innovate the Ao Ba Ba - a familiar outfit of workers, bringing the simple and hard-working spirit of Vietnamese people to the main highlight. The collection uses typical color tones of three regions: warm yellow for the North, bright red for the Central region and rustic beige mixed with gentle pink for the South. Memories in the Clouds is therefore not only a costume but also a bridge to convey Vietnamese cultural values, evoking the emotions and memories of passengers when experiencing the flight. Since 2019, Vietnam Airlines' Flight Safety film series has become a symbol of the delicate combination of expertise and art; constantly innovates and creates based on materials from traditional culture, modern life to the development of technology. In each version, the Company has constantly transformed to bring films that both ensure professionalism and are rich in humanistic meaning.
