Vinamilk and the journey of sharing with people in flood-affected areas

With the spirit of "You contribute one - Vinamilk contributes one", the program "Overcoming natural disasters - Stepping forward to the future 2025" organized by Vinamilk in collaboration with the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Central Council of the Young Pioneers has received strong support from the community. The program called for donations of hundreds of thousands of nutritional products from customers and Vinamilk staff and employees nationwide.

The program "Overcoming natural disasters - Stepping into the future 2025" is deployed directly on the Vinamilk website, with updated and transparent information; easily accessible and quickly supported by everyone.

The North has just gone through storm No. 11, the Central region has just been hit by storm No. 10. When the rains stopped and the sun returned, people began to clean up and rebuild their roofs. That was also the time when the Vinamilk team departed for the flood-hit areas, bringing with them hundreds of thousands of nutritional products, gifts and the community's support on the journey of sharing after the natural disaster.

That journey is the joint effort of many hearts "You contribute one - Vinamilk contributes one" to together revive faith, send the warmth of sharing to each house, each classroom, where children's smiles and hope are rekindled after the storm and flood.

The first destination is Van Nham commune, Lang Son province - where in recent days has witnessed a historic flood, causing extremely heavy damage to the people.

Teachers and students of Nhat Tien Kindergarten received gifts from Vinamilk.

In the new sunlight, the stories of the flood made the whole group silent - not only because of the memories of the natural disaster, but also because of the people's willpower after the storm: There was sadness, loss, pain, but calmness, patience, and resilience.

At Nhat Tien Kindergarten, milk boxes, toys and sincere words of encouragement were handed to the children and teachers. The atmosphere seemed to brighten up after the days of storms and floods.

On the same afternoon, the delegation went to Thien Tan commune - where many houses were completely collapsed and nearly 300 households suffered great damage from natural disasters - to give Vinamilk nutritional products to children and local people.

Mr. Nong Van Chien, Thien Tan commune, Lang Son province, in front of his ruined house, received sympathy from Mr. Pham Tuyen - Director of Vinamilk's Hanoi branch.

Mr. Nong Van Chien stood next to his house that had completely collapsed after being swept away by the flood and said sadly: “Looking at my property makes me cry. Now I am old and weak and have no strength to rebuild it. I cannot rebuild my house, I can only build a shack to live in.”

Mr. Pham Tuyen - Director of Vinamilk's Hanoi branch could not hide his emotions: "Seeing the devastation, we feel truly heartbroken. We came here not only to give gifts, but also to let the people know that they are not alone. With us, there is the whole society joining hands to help the people overcome difficulties."

At the same time, thousands of Vinamilk nutritional products were also sent to That Khe commune, supporting people in remote areas isolated by the flood.

Leaving Lang Son, the delegation continued to Ninh Binh and Thanh Hoa - localities heavily affected by storm No. 10.

Vinamilk delegation donated nutritional products to people in Ninh Binh province and visited families severely affected by storms and floods.

In Hoang Hoa commune (Thanh Hoa), the sky has cleared up again, but people's hearts are still heavy with worries after the natural disaster. The delegation visited households in especially difficult circumstances, handing them gifts of encouragement and sincere greetings.

On the last day, the delegation went to Thai Nguyen, where the consequences of storm No. 11 are still evident, to give nutritional products to the people there.

Vinamilk representative, Mr. Ta Xuan Tuan - Northern Sales Director presented nutritional products to Van Han commune, Thai Nguyen province.

In Van Han commune, the house of Mr. Doan Khanh and his wife was completely washed away, leaving only a mess of earth. Vinamilk provided cash support and donated nutritional products to encourage his family during this difficult time.

At Dong Lien Secondary School, Gia Sang Ward, Vinamilk nutritional products were given to students. The milk boxes were opened, and the little faces lit up with simple, pure joy.

Not only stopping at direct trips, hundreds of thousands of Vinamilk nutritional products are also sent to children and people in Cao Bang, Ha Tinh, Nghe An provinces, etc., spreading the spirit of Vietnamese people protecting Vietnamese people throughout the homeland.

Mr. Ta Xuan Tuan - Sales Director of Vinamilk in the North, shared: "Vinamilk hopes to contribute a small part to show our concern and encouragement to the people. We hope that the people will quickly overcome the current difficulties and return to normal life as soon as possible."

The journey has temporarily ended, but the echoes still linger in the hearts of the group members: From the innocent eyes, from the unstoppable tears of loss, from the shock still lingering in the corners of the eyes, from the scene of devastation, from the steadfast saying "as long as there are people, there is property", from the smiles of children,... All were both touching and haunting; yet full of faith and hope,...

When the sun rises after the storm, the innocent smiles of children are what make us believe that all difficulties will pass and a new journey will begin.
