Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Vu Thi Hien Hanh surveyed the venues for the Red River Festival in 2025.

On the afternoon of October 23, Ms. Vu Thi Hien Hanh - Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee surveyed the locations expected to host events within the framework of the Red River Festival 2025 in Lao Cai ward and Cam Duong ward.

The survey team visited the following areas: Kim Tan Square; Dinh Le Square ( Lao Cai Ward); the area recreating the "Old Coc Lieu Market," An Duong Vuong Street (Lao Cai Ward); and the location for the opening ceremony of the Red River Festival at Nam Cuong Square (Cam Duong Ward). At each location, Ms. Vu Thi Hien Hanh and the team members inspected the site, stage setup, stalls, security, traffic, parking, etc., and the level of readiness to welcome domestic and international visitors.

Comrade Vu Thi Hien Hanh emphasized: The 2025 Red River Festival, themed "Where the Red River Flows into Vietnam," with its rich series of activities and events, is not only an opportunity to promote the image, culture, and tourism of Lao Cai province, but also a chance for exchange and cooperation between the Red River basin provinces of Vietnam and Yunnan province of China. Therefore, the preparations need to be systematic, synchronized, ensure safety, have a good media effect, and leave a deep impression on the people and tourists.

The Vice Chairman also assigned tasks to relevant departments and units to prepare detailed organizational plans; review infrastructure in event venues, and design stages, sound systems, and lighting.

This survey marks an important starting point in the preparation process for the 2025 Red River Festival, scheduled to take place from November 18-24, 2025. With decisive leadership and coordinated efforts from all levels, the 2025 Red River Festival promises to be solemn and impressive, contributing to spreading the image of Lao Cai as a safe and friendly cultural and tourist destination.
