From the straw-woven chairs and bamboo-woven tables of the Ha Nhi people, to the wooden masks of the Dao shamans, the bamboo baskets of the Tay people, the saddles, the lu co, and musical instruments of the Mong people... all tell the story of the cultural identity and daily life of the ethnic groups in the Lao Cai highlands over the past hundreds of years.


At Lao Cai Ethnic Cultural Space, visitors can also learn about and be introduced to the beauty of handicrafts (silver carving, drum making, brocade weaving...), culinary culture, the beauty of traditional costumes of ethnic groups, folk games, the art of weaving, embroidery, beeswax painting...
The cultural space also recreates folk cultural rituals, folk song and dance performances with the participation of typical artisans and artists of the province with performances full of vitality, rich in cultural identity and traditional artistic values.
In particular, the music night “ The sounds of the great forest”; the performance of cultural rituals of the Bo Y - Dao - Tay ethnic groups; the exchange night “ Harmonious identity” and the Fashion show “Lung lieng non cao” will be the highlights highlighting the cultural colors of the ethnic groups in Lao Cai province.
