20 Lao Defense Ministry students complete agricultural training course at Army Corps 15

(GLO)- On the morning of October 22, Corps 15 held a handover conference for the delegation of students from the Ministry of National Defense of the Lao People's Democratic Republic who completed the 2025 agricultural training program at Vocational College No. 21.

Attending the conference were representatives of functional agencies of the Corps; representatives of leaders, officers and teachers of Vocational College No. 21.

On the side of the Lao Ministry of National Defense , there were Lieutenant Phet Sa Van Chan Tha Vong - Assistant to the Expert Board, Student of the Foreign Affairs Department; Lieutenant Colonel Vo La Chit Kho Ta - Head of the student delegation, and 20 officers participating in the training course.

The training course is held for 2 months (from August 22 to October 20, 2025) with 11 specialized training topics on cultivation techniques, care and pest control on food crops and industrial crops; techniques for raising livestock, poultry, freshwater aquaculture; production and business planning in agriculture ...

The training program is organized scientifically and closely, combining theory and practice, associated with field trips to agricultural production models at units and localities in Gia Lai province.

At the end of the training course, 100% of the trainees completed the program. The trainees highly appreciated the attention and facilitation of the 15th Corps and the school in terms of facilities, living conditions, learning environment and cultural and sports exchange activities.

Speaking at the conference, a representative of the Lao Ministry of National Defense expressed deep gratitude to the 15th Army Corps and Vocational College No. 21 for their dedicated support and creating favorable conditions for students to successfully complete the training program.

At the same time, it affirmed that the course results are a valuable source of knowledge, helping Lao officials improve their professional capacity, effectively apply them to work practices, and contribute to local economic development.
