With two hospitals joining a top-tier global healthcare network, Vinmec continues to affirm its strategy of reaching international standards, aiming to bring world-class treatment quality and standards right here in Vietnam.
Vinmec Central Park has officially become a member of Cleveland Clinic Connected, a world- leading healthcare system.
Cleveland Clinic is one of the largest and top-ranked non-profit academic healthcare systems in the world. It operates 23 hospitals and over 276 outpatient facilities globally. For many years, the system has consistently been recognized by US News & World Report as one of the "Best Hospitals in America," and was also ranked among Newsweek's "Best Hospitals in the World 2023."
With the goal of building a network of hospitals and healthcare organizations that share a vision for the best possible treatment and care for patients, Cleveland Clinic has initiated the Cleveland Clinic Connected System to meet the increasingly urgent need for improved healthcare quality worldwide, especially in the post-pandemic era.
Professor Tran Van Thuan, Deputy Minister of Health, delivered a speech at the signing ceremony on the afternoon of May 21st.
To join Cleveland Clinic Connected, member hospitals worldwide must adhere to the program's core principles of patient safety, quality of care, continuous improvement, and patient experience. The Cleveland Clinic delegation also directly assessed the implementation at Vinmec Central Park, conducting interviews with each member of the hospital's leadership team and holding independent discussions with doctors, nurses, and patients undergoing treatment.
Upon joining, experts from Cleveland Clinic and Vinmec Central Park will collaborate in key specialties such as oncology, cardiology, and neurology to assess current operations and advise on the application of operational and professional procedures according to Cleveland Clinic standards. Simultaneously, the experts will jointly implement initiatives to provide excellent healthcare services to local customers.

Prior to Vinmec Central Park, Vinmec Times City became the second hospital in the world to join Cleveland Clinic Connected in January 2023. After more than a year of collaboration, Vinmec Times City has seen significant improvements in Safety, Quality, and Patient Experience (SQPE) by applying Cleveland Clinic's standard analytical and evaluation processes to identify and address the root causes of quality and safety issues.
In particular, Vinmec's Cardiovascular Center and Sarcoma Center collaborate with experts from Cleveland Clinic in applying international standards to deliver highly effective treatment right here in Vietnam. Experts from both Vinmec and Cleveland Clinic continuously exchange expertise, update on new techniques, and discuss clinical cases. For complex cases admitted at Vinmec, patients can consult with Cleveland Clinic experts to arrive at an accurate diagnosis, thereby determining the most optimal treatment plan.
