Da Nang receives 15 modernly equipped ambulances sponsored by Vingroup Corporation

DNO - On the morning of November 27, the Department of Health received 15 ambulances and many modern medical equipment sponsored by Vingroup for the Da Nang City Emergency Center under the Ministry of Health's external emergency pilot project for the period 2025 - 2030.

Attending the ceremony were Prof. Dr. Tran Van Thuan, Deputy Minister of Health and Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi.

Among the 15 new ambulances, there are 13 standard ambulances, 2 high-end ambulances, along with many modern equipment such as: portable ventilators, monitors, defibrillators, intubation equipment with cameras, high-end electric shock machines, portable ultrasound machines and trauma fixation kits... with a total value of more than 26 billion VND.

Speaking at the reception ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi emphasized that emergency care outside the hospital is always considered the "frontline of the frontline", the decisive factor in the survival of patients.

The receipt of 15 ambulances and modern equipment significantly contributes to the city's gradual implementation of the major goals of the Ministry of Health 's external emergency pilot project and the plan to develop the external emergency system in the city for the period 2025 - 2030, with a vision to 2045.

At the same time, it contributes to reducing the time to reach patients and victims; improving the quality of on-scene treatment; modernizing emergency equipment and vehicles; standardizing the capacity of emergency medical staff and gradually building an interdisciplinary, professional, intelligent and comprehensively connected emergency model.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi also said that the City People's Committee will direct the Department of Health and the City Emergency Center to maximize the effectiveness of the funding resources.

At the same time, the city will continue to improve the inter-sectoral coordination mechanism, increase budget investment, develop a smart emergency dispatch center, expand the network of emergency stations in mountainous, coastal and island areas and focus on training first aid forces in the community in accordance with regulations and instructions of the Ministry of Health.
