Hoa Phat Group Joint Stock Company (HPG) has just announced that Mr. Tran Vu Minh, son of Mr. Tran Dinh Long, Chairman of the Board of Directors, registered to buy shares from Mr. Long and Ms. Vu Thi Thu Hien (Mr. Long's wife).
Specifically, Mr. Long registered to sell 16.3 million shares to his son by negotiation from November 1 to November 30. Meanwhile, the wife of the Chairman of Hoa Phat also registered to sell more than 26.5 million shares to her son by agreement.
At the close of trading on October 27, HPG shares were priced at VND23,350/share. At this price, Mr. Tran Dinh Long's son could spend nearly VND1,000 billion to buy all the registered shares.
If the transaction is successful, Mr. Long's son will hold nearly 150 million HPG shares.
In addition, Mr. Tran Vu Minh is also the Director of Dai Phong Trading and Investment Company Limited. This company owns 2.74 million HPG shares.
At Hoa Phat, Chairman Tran Dinh Long is holding 1.516 billion HPG shares, accounting for 26.8%. Mr. Long's wife holds 426 million shares, accounting for 7.34%.
The total number of shares that Mr. Long and his family members are holding at Hoa Phat is 2.039 billion units, equivalent to 35.02%.

According to the third quarter business results report, Hoa Phat recorded revenue of VND28,766 billion, down 16% year-on-year. Profit after tax reached VND2,000 billion, up 212% year-on-year.
In the first 9 months of the year, Hoa Phat had a total revenue of VND 85,430 billion, down 27% over the same period. Profit after tax reached VND 3,830 billion, completing 48% of the yearly plan.

Ms. Ho Thuy Anh, daughter of Techcombank Chairman Ho Hung Anh, bought 82 million TCB shares, worth at least VND2,600 billion.
Mr. Ngo Chi Trung Johnny, son of Mr. Ngo Chi Dung, Chairman of VPBank, registered to buy 70 million VPB shares for investment purposes. It is estimated that Mr. Trung will need to spend about 1,470 billion VND to buy the registered number of shares.
