Case of 2 Vinh University officials accused of molesting female students: School establishes Disciplinary Council

TPO - Vinh University said that the school has worked with the two female students who made the accusations and established a disciplinary council, awaiting the conclusion for handling.

On June 3, a representative of Vinh University ( Nghe An ) said that after two incidents in which school officials were accused of sending sensitive photos and verbally soliciting female students, the school invited the students and two accused officials to come to work.

During the investigation, both female students confirmed that the content posted on social media was accurate. The female students did not use their real names to post the information, but confirmed that they were the ones who wrote the accusations against the two school officials.

The school has also established a disciplinary council, waiting for the official conclusion to have appropriate handling direction.

Previously, on social networks, there was an accusation that two officials working at Vinh University had sexually harassed and sent sensitive photos to female students.

A Facebook account said that she was a student of K64 at Vinh University. At the end of last semester, the female student was disciplined for her studies and had to meet with Mr. D. to resolve the issue. After that, for a month, the female student continuously received calls and messages from Mr. D.

The article also included a text message allegedly sent by Mr. D., along with sensitive images to seduce female students. After the post appeared on social media, many people expressed their anger and frustration.

In addition, another female student also posted content on the Vinh University Student Group accusing a school official named Q. of sexually harassing a female student of K65 who came to request notarization of her transcript. After the incident, Vinh University temporarily suspended Mr. Q. from work to clarify the matter.

Vinh University representative affirmed that it will take strict action if it discovers any staff violating professional ethics or code of conduct with students.
