The program was implemented with the coordination between the Party Committee, Minh Chau Commune People's Committee, Vietnam Young Physicians Association and central hospitals.

Many people in Minh Chau commune received health check-ups.

Long Chau Pharmacy and Vaccination Center system accompanies the program with the role of providing equipment, medicine and medical human resources, contributing to ensuring the quality of health care for local people.

Sharing about the significance of this activity, Mr. Nguyen Duc Tien, Secretary of the Minh Chau Commune Party Committee, affirmed that this is not only the task of the health sector, but also the common responsibility of the entire political system.

According to him, the universal health check-up program is a specific message about a government that is "close to the people, understands the people, and acts for the people", and is also a practical step in the journey to build a green, civilized, and happy Minh Chau commune.

Sharing the same view, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung, Deputy Director in charge of the Hanoi Department of Health, emphasized that this health check-up activity does not only stop at medical examination and treatment, but also aims to concretize the direction of the General Secretary on comprehensive and continuous management of people's health.

According to Mr. Hung, Hanoi has so far completed more than 8.2 million electronic health records and in Minh Chau commune, the locality is committed to completing health records for 100% of residents before 2029.

The program is organized into 5 examination sessions, serving more than 6,600 people in the whole commune. The first session took place on July 19, 2025, prioritizing examination for about 1,200 people in vulnerable groups such as the elderly, poor households and policy families.

The next phases will be deployed in August and September in each residential area for the convenience of people to participate.

Participating in the program are a team of more than 60 doctors, nurses and technicians from leading hospitals such as Bach Mai Hospital, K Hospital, Central Endocrinology Hospital, Military Hospital 105, E Hospital, Central Lung Hospital, Central Hospital of Traditional Medicine and Hospital 19/8, Ministry of Public Security.

In the first deployment, Long Chau Pharmacy System and Vaccination Center coordinated with the Vietnam Young Physicians Association and local authorities to organize free medical examinations, consultations and medicine distribution for more than 1,100 people.

Long Chau not only supports human resources but also provides medical equipment, medicines and many specialized supplies necessary for medical examination activities.

According to Mr. Nguyen Dai Duong, Long Chau Sales Director in Hanoi, this is one of the typical activities in the program "Health Journey - For a healthy Vietnam" that Long Chau is implementing nationwide.

He said the universal health check-up model in Minh Chau can be replicated in many other provinces and cities, especially in areas lacking medical services, helping to bring quality healthcare closer to the community.

People who participate will be examined in specialties such as general internal medicine, cardiovascular - respiratory, musculoskeletal, neurological, digestive, oncological, endocrine, nutritional, and receive vaccination advice.

All medicines are provided free of charge and examination results will be stored on the commune's health monitoring system to serve preventive medicine and periodic health care for each individual.

The free medical examination and medicine distribution program in Minh Chau commune is an important stop in the journey of bringing healthcare to the community of Long Chau Pharmacy System and Vaccination Center.

This activity also received the support of the Hanoi Young Physicians Association and many other units.

All join hands to spread practical values, contributing to improving the quality of life for people in remote areas, where access to quality medical services is still difficult.
