Dien Tien Commune (Dien Ban) announced to have achieved the standards of an advanced New Rural Commune

On December 23, Dien Tien commune, Dien Ban town announced that it had achieved the Advanced New Rural Standard in 2023. Vice Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan attended and presented congratulatory flowers.

Dien Tien Commune, Dien Ban District, held a ceremony to announce the achievement of Advanced New Rural Commune standards on the morning of December 23.

During the process of building an advanced new rural commune, Dien Tien commune residents donated over 13,000m2 of land, moved 11,600m of fences and solid gates, expanded and upgraded 12km of rural roads. 2 cooperatives in the area operate effectively, helping farmers invest in expanding production linkages.

The total accumulated mobilized capital from the implementation of the New Rural Program to 2023 is 147 billion 265 million VND, the combined capital to implement the program is 100 billion 903 million VND. By the end of 2023, Dien Tien commune maintained the standard of 19/19 criteria for a new rural commune. The average income per capita of the commune reached 57 million 27 VND/person, the poverty rate was 0.76%.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan awarded a certificate recognizing Dien Tien commune as meeting the standards of an advanced new-style rural commune.

The education sector has developed quite comprehensively, facilities and teaching and learning equipment have been invested properly, schools in the commune have been recognized as meeting national standards at level 2. Every year, over 95% of families are cultural; 4 villages have achieved cultural village status for 5 consecutive years or more, and health care for the people has been focused on. Political security and social order and safety have been maintained, with no political hotspots, no complicated gathering places, and no new cases of social evils.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan awarded the certificate of recognition for Dien Tien commune meeting the standards of an advanced NTM commune to the commune leaders. Vice Chairman of Dien Ban Town People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hieu awarded a welfare project worth 1 billion VND. In addition, Dien Tien Commune People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 2 collectives and 9 individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement "Joining hands to build NTM".
