Long Phu Commune inaugurated and put into use two rural bridges.

(CTO) - On the afternoon of November 19, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Phu Commune coordinated with Hai Long Phuoc Pagoda to organize the inauguration ceremony of Phat An 1 Bridge in Area 4, Khoan Tang Hamlet, Long Phu Commune, Can Tho City.

Delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the Phat An 1 bridge.

Phat An 1 Bridge was built with a length of 22m, width of 2.2m, total cost of about 100 million VND and people and socio-political organizations in the commune contributed about 200 working days. The bridge was completed and put into use, meeting the expectations of local people.

The 55th love bridge put into use helps people travel easily.

Previously, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Phu commune coordinated with Thien Thoi pagoda (Thoi An Hoi commune) to organize the inauguration ceremony of the 55th love bridge in Bung Long hamlet, Long Phu commune. The bridge is 27m long, 2.5m wide, with a total cost of 185 million VND. Of which, 125 million VND was supported by benefactors, the rest was contributed by local people.

The inauguration and putting into use of Phat An 1 Bridge and the 55th Love Bridge not only helps people and students travel more conveniently and safely, but also contributes to changing the face of the countryside, creating momentum for local socio-economic development.
