Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Council Le Van Nung; Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Secretary of the Long Xuyen City Party Committee Huynh Quoc Thai; leaders of city departments and branches, along with a large number of cadres, party members and people of My Khanh commune attended the ceremony.

Phuoc Thien Bridge was started on February 26, spanning the Red River Great Unity Residential Area (Binh Hoa 2 Hamlet) and completed on April 16 (10 days earlier than expected). The project is 27m long and 4.5m wide, with a reinforced concrete structure and a load capacity of 5 tons. The total cost of the project is over 570 million VND and more than 1,000 working days.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of My Khanh Commune People's Committee Ho Van Lanh expressed his joy when the project was completed on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of the beloved President Ho Chi Minh's birthday. With the motto "people know, people discuss, people do, people inspect and supervise, people benefit", the implementation process of Phuoc Thien bridge project was held with people's consensus on the bridge nameplate, project design, implementation time, especially the funding source implemented by 100% socialization. During the construction process, the people participated in the construction, closely supervised and advised the construction team to adjust some appropriate construction items, so the quality of the project was guaranteed.

On this occasion, many groups and individuals who have made positive contributions to the construction of Phuoc Thien bridge received certificates of merit from the People's Committee of Long Xuyen city and My Khanh commune.
