Previously, the Phu Huu Rural Market was held regularly on the 23rd day of the lunar month at Khanh Linh Pagoda. However, due to the merger of administrative units and the implementation of a two-tiered local government model, the market was temporarily suspended. This resumption aims to continue creating a space for displaying and introducing OCOP products, startup products, and distinctive local goods, contributing to promoting the image of the homeland.
On the reopening day, a large number of farmers, OCOP (One Commune One Product) producers, and various associations and organizations participated in displaying many of their flagship products such as durian, longan, fresh agricultural products, OCOP products, traditional cakes, and Tet holiday dishes . In particular, locals and tourists were able to enjoy free vegetarian banh xeo (Vietnamese savory pancake) and experience the serene and peaceful atmosphere of the temple grounds.
According to the plan, the Phu Huu Rural Market will continue to be held on the 23rd day of the lunar month every month. This activity not only contributes to connecting agricultural product consumption, promoting entrepreneurship, and increasing income for the people, but also creates a cultural highlight, develops community tourism , and builds an image of Phu Huu commune as friendly and hospitable.
