Accordingly, the leaders of the commune People's Committee inspected the evacuation of 5 households living in the upstream area of ​​Vinh Hue dam (Tan Phu village) to the community house of Tan Phu village and relatives' houses for shelter. Visiting the families, the local leaders asked the village to take good care of the lives of the people who came to take shelter; continue to propagate to the people not to be subjective, not to cross the spillways of rivers and streams. At the same time, they requested the forces on duty at the key areas to absolutely not let people cross the spillway because the upstream water will flow in with a large flow in the coming time. It is known that more than 160 workers working at sea of ​​the commune have also been brought ashore to take shelter from the storm.

Authorities informed people not to go through Vinh Hue dam.

Previously, on the night of November 5, the People's Committee of Van Ninh commune directed the Commune Military Command and Commune Police to review and grasp the situation, organize forces to block traffic spillways and vulnerable areas when there is heavy rain and flooding; and arrange forces to promptly support the evacuation of people and property to safety when heavy rain causes flooding.
