Identifying 19 teams that have qualified for the 2026 World Cup

(Dan Tri) - After the 2026 World Cup qualifying round took place last night, FIFA has determined the 19 teams participating in the tournament in the US, Canada, and Mexico. Of which, Egypt is the latest team to win a ticket.

Host (3 teams): USA, Mexico, Canada

Asia (6 teams): Australia, Iran, Japan, Jordan, South Korea, Uzbekistan.

South America (6 teams): Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay.

Oceania (1 team): New Zealand

Africa (3 teams): Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt.

In the penultimate match of Group A of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers on the evening of October 8, Egypt easily defeated the weak team Djibouti (ranked 193rd in the world ) with a score of 3-0. In which, star Mohamed Salah shone when contributing a double in this match.

With the above result, Egypt has won a ticket to the 2026 World Cup when it is certain to top Group A with 23 points, 5 points more than the second-ranked team Burkina Faso in the context of only one match left in the qualifying round.
