Building a streamlined Party and political system that operates effectively and efficiently

On the provincial side, the working session was attended by comrades Nguyen Hoai Anh - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Doan Anh Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, and leaders of departments, branches, sectors and localities in the province.

Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army delivered a speech at the meeting.

According to the assessment of the Inspection Team, implementing Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW of the Party Central Committee on promoting the building and rectification of the Party and the political system; resolutely preventing, repelling, and strictly handling cadres and Party members who have degraded in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation", the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee have led, directed, thoroughly grasped, and concretized Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW, related documents of the Central Committee in conjunction with the action program to implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and resolutions of Party congresses at all levels in the entire Provincial Party Committee to ensure timeliness, seriousness, and closeness to the local situation. The work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation has achieved many clear results, especially in fighting and refuting distorted arguments and wrong views in cyberspace.

The study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style continue to be widely implemented and spread throughout society. Self-criticism and criticism are carried out seriously in a constructive spirit, helping cadres, party members and party organizations clearly recognize shortcomings and limitations, thereby having plans to overcome and correct them. The leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots party organizations are increasingly improved. The quality of party cell activities has many positive changes. The review, assessment and classification of the quality of grassroots party organizations, party members and collectives, individuals, leaders and managers at all levels are carried out seriously and increasingly substantively. Party committees, party organizations and authorities at all levels have paid attention to leading, directing and resolving urgent, emerging issues with a focus and key points; resolutely handling limitations and violations, thereby contributing to promoting socio -economic development and political stability.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee spoke to clarify the contents stated in the draft.

The work of inspection, supervision and enforcement of Party discipline has been carried out seriously; the quality of inspections and supervisions has been improved, the content of inspections and supervisions has closely followed the requirements of Party building work and the tasks of each Party committee and organization. The inspection of Party organizations and Party members when there are signs of violations has been focused, contributing to preventing signs of degradation in political ideology, lifestyle ethics and preventing and combating corruption, negativity and waste. The handling of petitions and the enforcement of Party discipline have been carried out in accordance with procedures and regulations. Many corruption and negativity cases have been discovered and focused on directing strict investigation and trial in accordance with the provisions of law, contributing to strengthening people's trust in the Party and the State.

At the meeting, comrade Trinh Van Quyet highly appreciated the efforts, determination and achievements of Binh Thuan in leading, directing and concretizing Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW. Regarding the tasks in the coming time, the Party Central Committee Secretary requested the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to continue to thoroughly grasp and raise awareness of cadres, party members and people in the work of Party building and rectification. Mobilize the combined strength within the Party, among the people and within the political system to strengthen Party building, build a lean, compact, strong political system that operates effectively and efficiently, and push back the degradation of ideology, morality and lifestyle.

For some of the limitations pointed out, the province needs to propose specific solutions and action plans to overcome them, and the process must be regularly checked and the implementation results evaluated. On the other hand, it is necessary to improve the quality of activities of Party committees at all levels; strengthen inspection, supervision and monitoring work; and strictly handle cases of ideological, moral and lifestyle degradation.
