According to the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board, in recent years, the province has been consistently among the localities with strong attraction to domestic and foreign investors. Along with favorable location and open policies, the most important foundational factor is the initiative of industrial park infrastructure investors in accelerating construction and completing technical items from the beginning. From 2024 to now, industrial park project owners have accelerated progress, bringing about 1,000 hectares of land into technical infrastructure construction. Thanks to that, the total land area of industrial parks that have been invested in technical infrastructure has reached about 2,500 hectares, accounting for 89% of the total planned area. Of which, 540 hectares is clean land ready for lease, serving secondary investors.
Currently, the province has 18 industrial parks in operation with a high rate of attracting secondary investors, providing increasingly complete infrastructure systems, capable of receiving large-scale, modern technology projects. Among the projects accelerating construction progress, Industrial Park No. 05 is one of the bright spots. The project has a total area of over 192 hectares, of which 142.5 hectares is leased land. To date, phase 1 has completed more than 109 hectares, immediately meeting the needs of many investors. Phase 2, with a scale of over 80 hectares, is being implemented very urgently, reaching about 70% of the workload, exceeding 60% of the set progress. Mr. Dao Tat Ha, Head of Project Department - the infrastructure management unit of Industrial Park No. 05 informed: "We are focusing all resources, working continuously to complete traffic routes, electricity, water systems, wastewater treatment... to ensure readiness to receive projects in the shortest time. The goal is to shorten construction time, while strictly complying with technical standards and environmental protection requirements". Along with that, one of the outstanding advantages of Cau Nghin Industrial Park is the modern internal traffic system, which was planned synchronously from the beginning. The project allocates up to 10.97% of the land area to build 9 traffic routes with a total length of nearly 6km. Many routes have large cross-sections, capable of receiving specialized means of transport, creating maximum convenience for businesses. In addition to transportation, technical infrastructure items such as electricity, water supply, telecommunications, wastewater treatment, etc. are all built to high standards, ensuring stable operation and meeting the long-term needs of investors. The project is focusing on phase 3 construction, striving to complete in 2026. Thanks to quality infrastructure and favorable location, the occupancy rate of the industrial park has reached more than 40% and will continue to increase rapidly in the coming time. Not only Cau Nghin Industrial Park, many other industrial parks in the province are also promoting investment in a modern, sustainable, and environmentally friendly direction, meeting the increasing demands of large manufacturing corporations.
To complete the investment attraction target according to the planning, the province is focusing on the key task of creating clean land fund and accelerating the progress of investment in industrial park infrastructure. At the same time, reviewing and supplementing the planning and land use plan for industrial parks identified in the development plan. Adding new industrial parks to the list of key projects of the province, creating a legal basis to promote investment attraction. Focusing on site clearance, accelerating the progress of land handover to infrastructure investors. Speeding up the implementation of licensed industrial park infrastructure projects; providing maximum support for procedures for secondary investors. The province aims to have about 2,000 hectares of clean land ready for lease by the end of 2025. By 2030, the province will have 30 industrial parks with an area of 9,588 hectares and by 2050, completing 35 industrial parks with an area of more than 12,000 hectares.
