A passenger car with a Ho Chi Minh City license plate carrying about 25 people, traveling from Lam Dong to Binh Thuan , suddenly plunged into a ravine on Highway 28B, causing minor injuries to some passengers.
The incident happened at about 3:30 p.m. on June 27.
According to initial information, at that time, a 35-seat passenger van with license plate 51B-245.36, driven by driver Hoang Van P. (59 years old, residing in Ho Chi Minh City), was traveling on National Highway 28B from Lam Dong province to Binh Thuan.
When reaching Km45+600, passing through Phan Son commune, Bac Binh district (Binh Thuan province), the passenger car suddenly plunged down the pass, causing many passengers to panic.
The accident caused some people in the car to suffer minor injuries and were assisted to move on the road. Upon receiving the news, local authorities arrived at the scene to participate in rescue and support.
It is known that at the time of the accident, there were about 25 people on the bus who were on a tour of Mui Ne when the incident occurred.
National Highway 28B is also known as Luong Son - Dai Ninh route, connecting Binh Thuan and Lam Dong provinces. On the route, there is Dai Ninh pass located between Phan Lam and Phan Son communes (Binh Thuan). Along the route, there are many hills, curves and deep ravines, where accidents often occur.
