An expert from the examination department of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training said that the results of the 10th grade exam review were sent by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training to secondary schools whose students registered for the review on June 30.

Accordingly, secondary schools are responsible for informing each candidate specifically about the results of the 10th grade exam review. Secondary schools print 10th grade exam score notices for candidates whose review scores have changed and collect previously issued score sheets.

From July 2, the 10th grade Admissions Council will approve the additional list of candidates admitted to specialized and integrated classes after the review and update it on the 10th grade admissions system at ts10.hcm.edu.vn. Specialized high schools and high schools that organize specialized and integrated classes will receive additional candidates admitted after the review.

In addition, according to Mr. Le Hoai Nam, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, the Department of Education and Training will announce the standard scores for grade 10 on July 3, one week earlier than every year.

According to Mr. Le Hoai Nam, after 10th grade students complete their admission application, depending on the actual number of students enrolled, the Department of Education and Training will develop a second round of enrollment plans for schools that have not yet met their enrollment quotas, in accordance with the actual situation of each high school to ensure enough places for students in the area. It is known that after the 2023 10th grade entrance exam, the Department of Education and Training has specifically counted the number of students enrolled and announced the additional enrollment of about 3,000 10th grade students for nearly 100 public high schools.

The 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City took place on June 6 and 7 with about 98,400 candidates taking the exams in literature, foreign language, math (if candidates register for regular 10th grade) and specialized/integrated subjects (if candidates register for specialized or integrated classes). The total enrollment target for 10th grade of specialized high schools, high schools with specialized or integrated classes and regular high schools is about 78,000 students.
