Attending the workshop were leaders of the Department of Health , hospitals in provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta region and about 300 scientists who are leading experts in the field of Health Science.
The workshop aims to create opportunities for exchanging and connecting knowledge between scientists in the field of health sciences. Suggesting knowledge related to health, sharing research results and experiences from practical work. At the same time, updating new advances in the field of diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal diseases.
The Organizing Committee received 112 papers from about 120 authors who are scientists; leaders, lecturers of universities and colleges; medical facilities across the country, etc. The papers revolved around issues such as: Application of advanced imaging techniques in diagnosing musculoskeletal diseases; Minimally invasive surgical techniques and modern intervention methods; New trends in internal medicine and rehabilitation; Application of artificial intelligence and digital technology in musculoskeletal medicine; Training of medical human resources in the field of musculoskeletal, etc.

Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Distinguished Teacher, Associate Professor, Dr. Luong Minh Cu, Party Committee Secretary, President of Cuu Long University, emphasized that in the context of strong development of science and technology, the field of musculoskeletal medicine is witnessing many remarkable advances - from advanced imaging diagnostic techniques, minimally invasive surgery, to rehabilitation treatment methods and application of artificial intelligence in personalized medicine. These innovations not only contribute to improving the quality of treatment, but also open up a more comprehensive, humane and sustainable approach for patients.
