(NLDO) - Mr. L. is believed to have killed Mrs. L. and her child in Ben Cat City and then attempted suicide. He is currently being treated at Binh Duong General Hospital.

On February 22, a source of the reporter of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper said that related to the case of the ex-husband discovering the unusual death of a mother and child in a house in Ben Cat City, Binh Duong Province, there appeared details that the man believed to be the mother's "young lover" was being treated at Binh Duong General Hospital.

This person was identified as LQL (born in 1993, residing in Ho Chi Minh City).

The house where the murder took place is under lockdown.

According to the source, this man is the lover of Ms. LTL (born in 1983, living in Ben Cat City, Binh Duong Province), 10 years younger than Ms. L., working in the medical field.

Mr. L. is believed to be the suspect who murdered Mrs. L. and her child and then committed suicide, however, the police have yet to make an official conclusion.

As reported by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper at around 9:00 a.m. the same day, the Hoa Loi Ward Police, Ben Cat City received a report of the discovery of two bodies in the private house of Mr. Truong Van The (the house was previously registered under Mr. The's name but after the divorce he left it to his wife and children - PV) in An Hoa neighborhood, Hoa Loi Ward.

The victims were identified as LTT (born in 1983) and her son TQP (born in 2017). Upon checking the scene, the authorities discovered the mother’s body lying on the bed, while the son’s body was lying on the floor.
