2024 Hyundai Tucson to be launched in Southeast Asia

There are 3 versions of the 2024 Hyundai Tucson available in the Malaysian market and all are imported as completely built units (CBU) from Korea.

2024 Hyundai Tucson has just launched in the Southeast Asian market.

The Standard version uses 17-inch wheel rims + 235/65 tires, MFR LED headlights, round taillights, fabric seats, leather steering wheel, 4.25-inch multi-information screen and an 8-inch touch screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay applications, 6 audio speakers, wireless start, rearview camera and manual air conditioning.

The car has a number of safety features such as 7 airbags, ABS, ESC, hill start assist, rear parking sensors, blind spot collision warning (BCW), safety warning when opening the car door (SEW) and rear pedestrian warning (ROA).

The second version of the 2024 Hyundai Tucson (1.6T Plus) has 19-inch rims + 235/55 tire configuration, leather seats, 8-way adjustable driver's seat, paddle shifters and tire pressure monitoring system.

The top-of-the-line 1.6T Max adds front brake sensors, LED taillights, a roof rack with aluminum alloys, eight-way ventilated and heated front seats, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control with rear vents, a power-operated tailgate, power mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, and a wireless charging pad.

This premium version has advanced driver assistance systems such as intelligent cruise control (SCC), forward collision avoidance assist (FCA), lane keeping assist (LKA), lane follow assist (LFA), driver attention warning (DAW), collision warning with oncoming vehicles (LVDA), high beam assist (HBA),...

The Standard version is equipped with a 2.0L gasoline engine, with a maximum capacity of 156 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and a maximum torque of 192 Nm at 4,500 rpm. Comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive system (FWD). The car can reach a maximum capacity of 181 km/h and accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 11.4 seconds.

The remaining two versions use the Smartstream G1.6T-GDI engine, a 1.6L turbocharged gasoline engine, with a maximum capacity of 180 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 265 Nm at a rpm range of 1,500 to 4,500 rpm. The car has a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, front-wheel drive (FWD). This engine block allows the car to reach a maximum speed of 201 km/h and accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 8.8 seconds.

The specific selling price of this SUV model has not yet been announced.
