Not only My Linh, the artists participating in the program 50 years of the country full of joy still burned themselves out on stage at Doan Mon Stadium - Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Hanoi . They and the audience relived unforgettable moments of the nation's history.

The event, organized by Hanoi City and coordinated by Hanoi Radio and Television, is part of a series of activities to widely disseminate the stature, value and significance of the resistance war against the US to save the country and the Great Victory of Spring 1975 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.

Reliving unforgettable moments of history, thousands of viewers at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long as well as millions of viewers on television were filled with emotion. The program not only moved viewers to tears but also ignited pride in the silent but great contributions of Hanoi - the heart of the resistance war for national independence and unification.

50 years of the country full of joy using a symphony orchestra with 66 musical instruments performing live on stage, combining dance, singing, choreography, 3D mapping, documentary reports and exchanges with historical witnesses. The stage space is designed as a picture vividly recreating important milestones and heroic images of the capital Hanoi during the resistance war against America to save the country.

In the program, artists People's Artist Tan Minh, Meritorious Artist Lan Anh, singers My Linh, Khanh Linh, Quach Mai Thy, Tran Tung Anh, Kyo York... performed immortal epics such as: Southern Frontline of the Fatherland, Ho on Hien Luong Wharf, Far Away, Song of Hope, Truong Son Stick, Love Song, Hanoi Hue Saigon, Hue Saigon Hanoi...

In particular, compositions about the Capital during the most difficult days of the war, at the moment when Hanoi bravely faced the great challenge - the B52 super bomber such as: Hanoi sleepless nights, Song of Hanoi, Spring on the Dak-krong River... moved many audiences.

The songs "Hurried Letter", "My Memories"... recreate the feelings and thoughts of young Hanoi soldiers who put down their pens and went to war to have the moment when the whole country and people sang together the melody of the "Song of Reunification", "The Country is Full of Joy".

Despite the heavy rain that lasted for more than 2 hours during the program, thousands of people in the capital, including veterans, the elderly, the young, and children, stayed until the end to relive the heroic atmosphere of the days when the country was united. The artists sang and performed in the rain, breathing life into each melody, blending into the rhythm to write the heroic and tragic epic of an indomitable nation.

The most emotional moment was when the audience listened to the story of the memories of the fierce battlefield of journalist Phung Huy Thinh - a veteran from Gia Lam, Hanoi - 54 years ago, leaving the Faculty of Literature, University of General Sciences, full of ambition to join his peers in the fight. He affirmed: "I am still alive today because I am protected by my comrades. The most sacred category I feel now is comradeship".

Through the program, the audience can look back on the arduous but also extremely glorious struggle so that each person in Hanoi today can be even more proud of having contributed significantly to the cause of regaining peace , independence and unity for the Fatherland.
