Regarding the fire at a car repair shop in Phan Thiet City ( Binh Thuan ) that left two people dead and two in critical condition, on the evening of August 31, the two children of the car repair shop owner were still being actively treated by doctors at Binh Thuan General Hospital.
One of the two victims still being treated is the boy who was first taken out of the fire. According to the clip shared by the Binh Thuan Free Ambulance Team, the fire police officer immediately after taking the boy out of the fire carried him to the ambulance and performed emergency first aid. The boy's whole body was covered in smoke and was motionless.

On the approximately 2 km stretch from the scene of the fire to the hospital, the soldier continuously performed CPR, performed abdominal compressions, and removed the foreign object from the boy’s mouth to open his airway. The boy is currently receiving intensive resuscitation and is being treated for respiratory failure at Binh Thuan General Hospital.

Fire scene
Previously, as reported, at around 6:30 p.m. the same day, a fire suddenly appeared and spread rapidly at a motorbike repair shop on Hai Thuong Lan Ong Street (extended section, Phong Nam Commune, Phan Thiet City). The fire killed two people, including the mother, the owner of the house, and a neighbor who participated in rescuing the victims. The two children are being treated at the hospital.
