In Hanoi , from May 13-16, Buddha's relics were brought to Quan Su Pagoda, the procession passed through many streets.
To meet medical needs and ensure the health of people coming to worship and pay homage, the Hanoi Department of Health has strictly implemented emergency care for the procession of the Sakyamuni Buddha relics, the national treasure of India, to pray for national peace and prosperity according to the route with 7 fixed emergency teams and 3 ambulances (Hanoi Heart Hospital, 115 Emergency Center, Hoan Kiem Medical Center).
By the morning of May 16, the emergency medical teams provided medical support to 97 cases, with no serious cases, mainly hypoglycemia and heatstroke.
In addition, the Hanoi Department of Health has strengthened food safety inspections in and around the event area; arranged staff to inspect and supervise food safety for food used in the event; and conducted rapid testing of food samples.
The functional units organize the supervision of the 3-step food inspection (before importing raw materials and food, before processing and before eating), and provide instructions on food sample storage for meals served to the organizing committee. The number of meals is about 600 meals/day, and the cooking location is at the Trade Union Hotel.
Regarding environmental sanitation and epidemic prevention, the Hanoi Department of Health has coordinated with the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Hanoi to effectively carry out environmental sanitation and epidemic prevention at the venue of the Buddha's Birthday and the enshrinement of the relics of the Buddha Shakyamuni, the national treasure of India (Quan Su Pagoda, Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace)./.
