Yen Bai prepares cultural and tourism activities for April 30 holiday

In the scenic area of Mu Cang Chai, preparations for the activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the tourism program "Water Pouring Season" in 2025 are being urgently completed. Accordingly, Mu Cang Chai district will organize many activities such as: Offering incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the district's Martyrs Cemetery; organizing visits and helping families with revolutionary contributions; organizing art programs to celebrate the theme "Unification Day" and tourism activities "Water Pouring Season" in 2025; experiencing paragliding "Flying over the scenic area" in the water pouring season...

In addition, the district will organize cultural and artistic activities; an art photo exhibition of the beauty of Mu Cang Chai terraced fields in the district center; organize community tourism activities for visitors to experience the cultural values of the Thai and Mong ethnic communities; explore the natural landscape and culture of Mu Cang Chai; experience terraced field farming activities such as: building banks, leading water, plowing, harrowing, and planting rice on terraced fields at the raspberry hill in La Pan Tan commune, and rice hammocks in Mo De, De Xu Phinh, Che Cu Nha, and Lao Chai communes... To organize these activities well, from the beginning of the year, the district has directed specialized departments and localities to develop detailed plans for each activity, especially the "Water Season" tourism event associated with the celebration of Southern Liberation Day April 30 and International Labor Day May 1.

Ms. Luong Thi Xuyen - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee said: "The district directs specialized departments and offices; communes and towns to effectively manage organizations, households and individuals doing business in food, beverage, accommodation, homestay services... with the motto of improving the quality of reception, care, and culinary services; ensuring food hygiene and safety, ensuring security, order, and social safety. This is an opportunity for Mu Cang Chai district to continue promoting its image, people, landscapes, heritages as well as typical products to domestic and foreign tourists".

In Nghia Lo town, this year's April 30 and May 1 holidays will feature many exciting activities such as: the sparkling festival of the "Voice of Peace" art program, bamboo dance performances, horse racing, etc. and many other unique cultural and sports activities. To prepare for welcoming visitors, the town's People's Committee has directed communes and wards in the area to organize cultural and artistic activities and unique experiences such as: exploring the village on foot, swimming in the stream, participating in production with local people, etc. These activities are becoming a highlight to attract tourists, especially foreign tourists. Along with that, to ensure conditions for serving tourists attentively, Nghia Lo town has directed accommodation establishments and restaurants in the area to review their facilities, ensuring attentive service, food safety and hygiene, fire prevention and fighting, etc.

At the same time, propaganda was carried out so that tourist accommodation establishments strictly implemented the State's regulations related to the posting and publicizing of service prices, ensuring fire prevention and fighting, food safety and hygiene, security and order...
