05 Important Laws on Science, Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation

On December 10th and 11th, the National Assembly simultaneously passed five important laws on science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation, including the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Technology Transfer; the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Intellectual Property; the Law on High Technology (amended); the Law on Digital Transformation; and the Law on Artificial Intelligence.

 

The adoption of these five laws is considered a significant step in perfecting the policy and legal system, creating a legal framework to promote the development of new technologies and meet management requirements in the context of the rapidly developing digital economy , digital society, and artificial intelligence.

 

The Ministry of Science and Technology respectfully presents the fundamental and core points of the five laws, systematized from the guiding principles of Minister Nguyen Manh Hung, to serve the dissemination and implementation work throughout the Ministry.
