Inspection of administrative reform work at the Department of Science and Technology of Cao Bang province.

On the afternoon of December 11th, the Administrative Reform Inspection Team, led by Mr. Nong Hoa Thuong - Deputy Director of the Department of Internal Affairs of Cao Bang province, conducted an inspection at the Department of Science and Technology.

From the beginning of 2025 to the present, the Department of Science and Technology has reviewed 20 legal documents. The Department of Science and Technology has participated in submitting to the Provincial People's Committee for publication the list and approval of internal procedures for resolving administrative procedures (AP) that have been amended and supplemented in the following fields: (1) science and technology activities; (2) standards, measurement and quality; (3) total radiation and nuclear; (4) intellectual property; (5) telecommunications and internet; (6) radio electronic numbers; (7) postal services. The public disclosure and posting of APs are carried out seriously and in accordance with regulations. 100% of APs are publicly and transparently disclosed on the Department of Science and Technology's website (https://sokhcn.caobang.gov.vn), at the agency's headquarters, at the Provincial Public Administration Service Center and on the National Public Service Portal.

Total number of administrative procedures under the authority of the agency/unit: 179 administrative procedures under its authority, processing and granting licenses for 183 dossiers for citizens and organizations. Support was provided to maintain and operate 99 public postal service points to facilitate access to information for people in economically disadvantaged communes. The development of e-government and digital government reached 100%.

During the inspection, members assessed and discussed the results of various areas of administrative reform, including: leadership and management, organization and implementation of administrative reform tasks; institutional reform, administrative procedure reform, and reform of the state administrative apparatus; civil service reform and public finance reform; building and developing e-government and digital government; and the direction and implementation of state documents on document management and archiving…

The inspection team requested the Department of Science and Technology to improve institutional reform, administrative reform, and public administrative services; continue to focus on directing training in public service work; promote the dissemination of information on administrative reform through various forms, including e-government and digital literacy, to make it easily accessible to the public; review document archiving; create electronic files for outgoing documents as well as document archiving.
