Pioneering private hospital in training medical practitioners
Medical training has long been considered one of the responsibilities of medical facilities, parallel to medical examination and treatment activities. Over the years, FV has cooperated with medical universities at home and abroad to welcome interns, train nurses, pharmacists and organize CME (continuing medical education) programs.
In 2024, when approved by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health as a medical examination and treatment facility qualified to guide practice for the department to issue practice certificates, FV officially became the first private hospital to participate in training medical practitioners in Vietnam.
Master - Doctor Tran Ngoc Thanh, Deputy Head of the Department of Immunopathophysiology, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, commented: "FV is the first unit outside the public system to volunteer to take on the role of training practicing doctors. This is an activity with profound social significance, adding motivation and opportunities for young doctors to pursue a medical career. I believe this model will be replicated, because the common goal is to serve the community."
