On National Highway 40B, the road management unit has cleared the road up to km82+500 (Tra Tan commune). At km82+500, a landslide washed away a culvert, blocking the road. This culvert will be replaced with another one, and the debris from the embankment will be removed. The first phase of traffic reopening is expected at 5 PM on November 1st.

Also on National Highway 40B, cracks and subsidence have appeared on the road surface between km68+030 and km68+100, widening and posing a risk of road collapse. The management unit has erected warning barriers and allowed temporary traffic flow.

A section of road at km90+520 - km90+598 (Nam Tra My commune) has a horizontal crack on the road surface and a landslide on the embankment, posing a risk of road collapse. The management unit is implementing measures to limit water flow into the crack.

On provincial road DT606, in Tay Giang and Hung Son communes, landslides have severed the road at kilometer markers 2+020 and 5+830 (Tay Giang commune). The maintenance unit has cordoned off the area to ensure traffic flow; they are currently excavating into the positive slope to create a roadbed, temporarily ensuring traffic flow.

On October 31st, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction Tran Ngoc Thanh continued to inspect and direct the work of repairing damage on National Highway 40B and National Highway 24C.

Excluding the Ho Chi Minh Highway, Truong Son East Highway, National Highway 1, and expressways passing through the area managed by Road Management Area III, the total estimated damage to Da Nang city's transportation infrastructure caused by the recent floods (as of the afternoon of October 31st) is over 156 billion VND.

The above figures do not include provincial, district, and village roads that were previously managed by the district-level People's Committees and are now managed and maintained by the commune-level authorities.
