As of 7am on November 20, 15 households with 25 people in Chau Son village, D'ran commune were still isolated. Authorities are approaching to carry out rescue plans.

As reported by Lam Dong Newspaper, from the evening of November 19 to the early morning of November 20, heavy rain lasted for more than 12 hours with rainfall at some measuring points reaching 386 mm, causing many areas of D'ran to be deeply flooded. At the same time, the regulated discharge flow of the Da Nhim - Ham Thuan - Da Mi Hydropower Company through Don Duong dam continuously increased, at times reaching 2,580 m3/s, causing the entire area around Da Nhim dam and along the Da Nhim river to be submerged in water.

According to forecasts, the water level of the Da Nhim River is rising rapidly and is likely to exceed the historical flood peak. People living along the river, in the areas of Hiep Thanh, Duc Trong, D'ran, Ka Do, Quang Lap and Don Duong are at risk of deep flooding and need to be urgently evacuated to ensure safety.

Lieutenant Colonel Ha Bao Loc added that the Provincial Military Command has deployed forces on duty regularly, proactively responding to flood developments, and absolutely not being passive or surprised in any situation.

The Provincial Military Command's hotline is maintained 24/7, ready to receive rescue information. On-duty forces are deployed at key points, proactively deploying rescue plans, ensuring adequate food and absolute safety for the people.
