17 major events in summer 2024 to make Sam Son a 'city of festivals'

On the afternoon of April 16, the People's Committee of Sam Son city informed about a series of Sam Son tourism activities in 2024.

According to the People's Committee of Sam Son city, this year's beach tourism season, through cultural, artistic programs, sports and tourism activities, will introduce to the people and domestic and foreign tourists about positive changes and strong transformations in the urban appearance and quality of Sam Son tourism services.

With unique tourism products, Sam Son city is gradually being built and developed to become a key national tourist city, an ideal destination for tourists.

Step by step, build Sam Son into a "city of festivals", opening up opportunities to attract investment and exploit natural and social resources for tourism development.

The new point of Sam Son beach tourism this year is the putting into operation of the outdoor amusement park complex (Sun World Sam Son park) with the largest investment scale and area in the North, including water park, theme park, total area of over 33.5 hectares, total investment in phase one of over 1,500 billion VND, invested by Sun Group.

Sam Son is also the place to hold the 70th anniversary celebration of welcoming compatriots, cadres, soldiers and students from the South to the North (1954 - 2024) and the inauguration and handover of the "reunification ship" memorial project.

The memorial area for compatriots, cadres, soldiers and students from the South who gathered in the North is a project expressing the gratitude, solidarity, love and support of the people of the North for the South during the war years.
