The 2024 Tra Vinh Provincial Taekwondo Championship attracted 195 athletes from 12 participating units.
Participating in this tournament are 195 athletes, including 97 women from 12 units including 09 districts, towns, cities and Tra Vinh University, Vocational College, Departmentof Education and Training of Tra Vinh. The athletes compete in 24 sets of medals, including 20 sets of individual medals and 04 sets of team medals (02 standard team events and 02 team competition events).
Comrade Cao Quoc Dung, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, presented souvenir flags to the referees participating in the tournament.
Accordingly, right after the opening ceremony, athletes will compete in the following events: women's individual standard boxing, men's individual standard boxing, men's team boxing and women's team boxing.
The tournament is expected to end on the morning of July 5.
02 male athletes compete in individual powerlifting.
