Today, November 21, at the Hai Ba Trung District Political Center, a conference was held to train professional skills and disseminate new legal documents on associations, social funds, charity funds and emulation and reward work in 2024, organized by the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs.

The conference was attended by representatives of the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations - Ministry of Home Affairs , leaders of the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs. Also attending were 250 trainees who are representatives of leaders, civil servants advising on association work, funds and emulation - rewards from departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of districts, towns and representative leaders of mass organizations in the city.

According to Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Home Affairs Mai Xuan Truong, this is a practical activity of the Department of Home Affairs to implement the 2024 Work Program, including organizing training and implementing State management work on associations, funds and emulation and rewards.

On October 8, 2024, the Government issued Decree 126/2024/ND-CP regulating the organization, operation and management of associations; on October 23, 2024, the Government issued Decree 136/2024/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree 93/2019/ND-CP dated November 25, 2019 of the Government on the organization and operation of social funds and charity funds. On January 1, 2024, the Law on Emulation and Commendation No. 06/2022/QH15 also took effect.

“These are new and important contents that need to be disseminated and trained promptly so that leaders and civil servants of departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities in Hanoi can update their knowledge, foster state management skills, and raise awareness in consulting and implementing state management work on associations, funds and emulation and rewards,” affirmed Mr. Mai Xuan Truong.

Representatives of leaders, civil servants advising on association work, funds and emulation and rewards from departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of districts, towns and representatives of leaders of mass organizations in the city attended the Conference.

At the training conference, the trainees were informed and instructed to focus on 3 thematic contents: thoroughly understanding and disseminating the basic contents of Decree 126/2024/ND-CP dated October 8, 2024 of the Government regulating the organization, operation and management of associations; thoroughly understanding and disseminating the basic contents of Decree 136/2024/ND-CP dated October 23, 2024 of the Government on amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree 93/2019/ND-CP dated November 25, 2019 of the Government on the organization and operation of social funds and charity funds; disseminating a number of contents on emulation and reward work.

At the same time, exchange and answer questions about practical problems, which have been specifically answered.
