Apple's next-generation iPhone SE could launch as early as this week. The device is rumored to feature an iPhone 14-like design, an A18 chip with Apple Intelligence, and more.

New name?
One interesting rumor about the iPhone SE 4 is that Apple could rename the device to the iPhone 16E.
Bringing the iPhone SE's naming scheme into line with the rest of the iPhone lineup would help Apple clarify its product, and it could also be a way for Apple to price the device higher than the previous iPhone SE.
However, this rumor comes from a few unreliable sources.
48MP camera
According to an exclusive report from 9to5Mac , the iPhone SE 4 will be equipped with a 48MP main camera sensor, just like the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.
This means that photo quality will be significantly improved compared to the iPhone 14 and previous SE generations.
More importantly, it also brings a notable feature: 2x optical zoom.
Apple's first modem
Apple acquired Intel's modem business in 2019. Since then, it has been quietly developing its own modem, aiming to replace Qualcomm.
With the new iPhone SE, these "homegrown" modems will finally be put to use by Apple.
However, this modem is not a huge breakthrough, which is why it will not appear on most of the iPhone 17 series.
Still, this is an important step forward, helping Apple move further in its hardware autonomy strategy.
The iPhone SE 4 is expected to launch on Tuesday, February 11, along with new Powerbeats headphones. Apple could be taking orders for the new iPhone SE before it officially goes on sale in late February.
