30 mass art troupes participate in the national 'Sen Village Singing' Festival in 2025

Attending the opening ceremony were comrade Ninh Thi Thu Huong - Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism); comrades of the Executive Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee: Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; together with representatives of leaders of departments, agencies and branches and many artists, artisans and actors from 30 mass art troupes across the country.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An, Co-Head of the Organizing Committee of the Festival affirmed: As one of the key activities of the Sen Village Festival in 2025, the "Sen Village Singing" Festival is not only a unique and emotional artistic event but also a political and cultural activity of sacred significance. This is an opportunity for the people of the whole country to express their respect and deep gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh - the genius leader of the nation, who devoted his whole life to the cause of independence, freedom and happiness of the People.

Held every 5 years in Uncle Ho's hometown, the Festival is a gathering place for artistic souls and hearts passionate about art from all over the country. Through performances imbued with national identity, the audience will deeply feel the sound of the homeland, love for the Fatherland, and the ideological, moral and stylistic values of Ho Chi Minh spread through each melody and each dance.

This year’s festival is also an opportunity for Nghe An to introduce and promote its cultural and historical values, beautiful natural landscapes and the image of the gentle and hospitable people of Nghe An; contributing to promoting tourism development and enhancing cultural exchange between regions in the country.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, art troupes presented special performances, elaborately staged, deeply expressing patriotism, national pride and sacred feelings for beloved Uncle Ho.
