34 works won the 2024 Da Nang City Press Award

On the morning of June 15, the Da Nang City Journalists Association held a ceremony to celebrate the 99th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2024) and award the Da Nang City Journalism Award 2023. Attending the ceremony, on the Central side, there were the Head of the Department, Head of the Central Propaganda Department's Standing Office in the Central - Central Highlands region: Nguyen The Hoa; Former Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association , President of the Da Nang City Journalists Association: Mai Duc Loc. The leaders of Da Nang City included the Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Committee: Nguyen Dinh Vinh; Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Council Tran Phuoc Son; Head of the City Party Committee's Propaganda Department Doan Ngoc Hung Anh; Head of the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee Le Van Trung; Head of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Vo Cong Chanh and Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Da Nang City Journalism Award 2023: Le Quang Nam.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh awarded First Prize to the authors.

Over the past year, along with the national press, Da Nang press has constantly strived to improve, innovate, and become more professional, promptly reflecting developments in political life, socio-economic development tasks, national defense and security in the area, especially important foreign affairs events; the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws, and the city's political tasks; closely reflecting the practical life and aspirations of the people, contributing to orienting public opinion, creating consensus in society, connecting the Party's will and the people's heart; promoting the city's image to a wide audience at home and abroad.

The Da Nang City Press Award is held annually to recognize and honor authors and groups of authors who have produced quality press products, contributing a critical voice to pressing social issues, demonstrating the fighting spirit, role and responsibility of journalists in the current period. Based on the scores of each work, the Organizing Committee of the Award reviewed, recognized and awarded 34 works by 72 authors/groups of authors in 05 types of press including: Written Newspaper, Electronic Newspaper, Press Photo, Television and Radio that won the City Press Award in 2023.

Also at the Ceremony, authorized by the Vietnam Journalists Association, the Da Nang City Journalists Association awarded the Commemorative Medal for Journalism to 4 qualified reporters and journalists.

In addition, the Da Nang City Journalists Association also presented gifts to students who overcame difficulties and achieved excellent results in the 2023-2024 school year.
