Flexible, proactively update knowledge, smart review
- Don't rely on the old exam "path". In the 2025 high school graduation exam in Ho Chi Minh City, the total number of candidates registered to take the exam was 99,578 (an increase of 8,891 candidates compared to last year). Of which, 1,638 candidates took the exam according to the old program (GDPT 2006) and 97,940 candidates took the exam according to the new program (GDPT 2018).
Statistics from the Department of Education and Training show that in the 2025 high school graduation exam, foreign languages led in the number of candidates registering with 49,328 students (accounting for 50.37%), followed by physics with 43,176 candidates (44.08%) and chemistry with 27,796 candidates (28.38%). Natural science subjects (physics, chemistry, biology) were chosen by many students, with a total of 79,045 candidates.
The Department of Education and Training plans to plan 168 examination sites (total number of examination rooms 4,704, average of 28 examination rooms per examination site) and at each examination site there will be 3 reserve rooms to handle unusual cases.
At the same time, mobilize the total number of cadres, teachers and staff participating in exam supervision: an estimated 14,112 people (of which 11,928 cadres and teachers are expected to participate in exam supervision and 2,184 staff serving at exam sites).
The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee directed the City Police to strengthen the protection of examination sites/examination councils, printing and copying of exam papers, and marking points; and to participate in escorting and protecting exam papers and test papers in accordance with approved regulations and plans. Directed the traffic police force to develop a plan for on-duty checkpoints and closely coordinate with forces of the Department of Construction and the City's Youth Volunteer Force to quickly clear traffic jams on exam days, creating favorable conditions for teachers and students to arrive at examination sites/examination councils on time.
