People's Artist Nguyen Dinh Tuong (stage name Manh Tuong, 91 years old) was the Head of the Hoa Mai Opera Troupe, grandson of composer Nguyen Dinh Nghi. He is not only a good actor and singer, but also an excellent director and adaptor of opera.

People's Artist Nguyen Dinh Chi (stage name Quang Chi, 73 years old), former Head of Nam Dinh Cai Luong Troupe, is the younger brother of People's Artist Manh Tuong. At the age of 14, Quang Chi was recruited to join An Lac Cai Luong Troupe. His singing voice was still developing but he had a talent for the stage so Quang Chi was soon able to perform with senior artists.
