Miss Ý Nhi brings controversial dance to Miss World

In recent days, Miss Ý Nhi has begun her journey to compete in the Miss World 2025 pageant. The Vietnamese representative has tried her best to join in, actively participating in many activities and interacting with other contestants. Ý Nhi has also shown confidence and meticulous investment in each activity.

On the evening of May 10, Y Nhi participated in the welcome party within the framework of the competition. The event marked the debut of more than 110 contestants from all over the world. The opening night was filled with festive colors with performances of traditional dances, honoring the cultural heritage of each ethnic group.

Miss Ý Nhi was one of the last contestants to appear in the opening ceremony. She wore a costume inspired by the mountainous region of the Central Highlands.

The Vietnamese representative performed energetic dance moves. She spun around many times, constantly changing her movements to the vibrant music. At the end, Miss Ý Nhi was placed in the center.

Reigning Miss World Krystyna Pyszková appeared excited, turned to Miss World President - Ms. Julia Morley and called out "Vietnam" while watching Miss Y Nhi's performance.

Before the event, Ý Nhi shared that she would do her best, bringing the best of Vietnam to the Miss World pageant. The beauty was also happy to stand on the Miss World stage and introduce a part of Vietnamese culture to international friends.

The prominent faces of the Miss World 2025 pageant have gradually emerged after the opening ceremony. They are representatives from Thailand, the Philippines, Brazil…

Currently, some beauty websites have made predictions about the rankings of the beauties in this year's contest. Among them, Missosology predicts that the representative of Thailand will be crowned with the highest position and Miss Ý Nhi will be in the top 15.

An Indonesian website predicts that Ý Nhi will win this year's contest, followed by representatives from Thailand, South Africa, the Philippines and Brazil.

Huynh Tran Y Nhi (born 2002) won the crown of Miss World Vietnam 2023. Before being Miss World Vietnam 2023, the beauty had won a number of domestic beauty awards.

Y Nhi is 1.75m tall, has a harmonious face and an impressive academic record. She is a student majoring in Business Administration at the International University - Ho Chi Minh City National University.

After being crowned, Ý Nhi chose to withdraw for a long time to study abroad. Recently, Ý Nhi stopped studying in Australia to focus on practicing her skills in performance, makeup, singing, dancing as well as her ability to communicate in English.

She also carried out the Heart To Head project, visiting more than 12 provinces and cities with 21 schools to donate 21 bookcases.

The Miss World 2025 pageant will take place in India for three weeks. The finals will be held on May 31 and the winner will be chosen.

Season 2025 is the 72nd season of the contest and brings together a large number of contestants, up to more than 110 beauties from all over the world.
