The international exhibition ENTECH VIETNAM 2025, taking place from June 25 to 27 at the ICE Center in Hanoi , continues to attract attention as a series of advanced environmental treatment technologies from Korea continue to be demonstrated.
Among them, Smart Korea, Samjin Precision, DOWON APEX Corporation (DWA), TaeHwa Kalpa Seal and SAMHOI are typical representatives, providing many breakthrough solutions in the treatment of toxic gases, wastewater and auxiliary equipment.
Smart Korea , established in August 2013, specializes in developing equipment to improve the environmental safety of workers and researchers, especially in environments containing toxic gases. Recently, the company has applied environmentally friendly activated carbon to the equipment filter, based on CO₂ emission reduction technology and the use of recycled materials.
At this year's exhibition, the company introduced two outstanding product lines made from green-certified activated carbon: Water treatment activated carbon with high purity and superior adsorption capacity, certified as Green Technology (GT‑24‑02137/GTP‑24‑04520) under the Green Growth & Low Carbon Law; toxic gas filter using green activated carbon combined with CMO filter, with deodorization efficiency ≥ 92.24%, acid gas and TVOC removal capacity ≥ 95%, filter life of 12–16 months - meeting indoor air quality standards. Smart Korea is also developing a new generation of silicon-based anode materials, based on porous carbon materials, for long-term application in science and technology.
Samjin Precision – with a tradition dating back to 1991 – is a leader in the water supply and drainage valve industry in Korea through its Ubi Waters brand. The company focuses on developing systems that ensure biosafety, prevent the spread of microorganisms, treat high-concentration wastewater from biogas plants, and small-scale decentralized treatment systems for areas with limited infrastructure.
At the exhibition, Samjin introduced products such as: Ubi‑Pure water treatment system for remote areas, customizable according to source quality; Ubi‑DAF applies dissolved air flotation technology under pressure, high suspended solids removal capacity with surface loading rate up to 40 m/h; and Ubi‑MBBR - biological treatment system using Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor, suitable for decentralized wastewater treatment in areas with few centralized drainage systems.
DOWON APEX Corporation (DWA) , established in 1996, is a specialist in wastewater treatment and incineration equipment, with over 1,000 units exported to 200 factories in 19 countries.
DWA will bring to ENTECH 2025 high-tech systems such as sludge centrifuges, surface aerators, sludge scrapers, automatic rotating trash screens, etc. In particular, from 2017 to 2024, DWA has provided more than 50 automatic screening systems and conveyors for 20 river water pumping stations in Thailand. The company has achieved ISO 9001:2015, received the Million Dollars Exporter Award in 2011, a certificate of merit from the Vietnamese Government in 2018, 4 times a certificate of merit from Busan City, a patent for solids removal equipment, the 2022 Excellent Patent Award, and the title of Global Leading Enterprise from the Korean Ministry of Industry and Trade in 2023.
TaeHwa Kalpa Seal is a company established in 1979 – famous for its non-asbestos gaskets and seals. In 1999, the company invested in building a factory specializing in the production of hot-pressed non-asbestos gaskets and high-quality gaskets. To date, the company has achieved ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 certifications and many certifications from international organizations such as ABS, LR, DNV GL.
At the exhibition, TaeHwa Kalpa introduced oil-resistant non-asbestos sheet gaskets and spiral wound gaskets – suitable for use in high pressure, high temperature and strong vibration environments.
SAMHOI Industrial , a manufacturer of industrial measurement and control equipment for power plants and marine. Established in 1994, SamHoi has accumulated nearly three decades of experience and continuously expanded its product portfolio, serving major partners such as Doosan Engine, Doosan Heavy Industries, POSCO, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd, along with Korean national power plants as well as international projects.
The product that SAMHOI brought to this exhibition is Level Switch - a liquid level switch, a device that monitors and controls liquid levels in tanks, water treatment tanks and automation systems. The product uses contact and non-contact sensor technology, capable of operating stably in high temperature and pressure environments, suitable for applications in the energy, water treatment, petrochemical and shipbuilding industries.
ENTECH VIETNAM 2025 will be a place to gather advanced solutions to support Vietnamese enterprises in enhancing toxic gas management, complex wastewater treatment, minimizing environmental pollution and moving towards lower emissions. The cooperation between Korean units such as Smart Korea, Samjin Precision, DWA and Taehwa Kalpa will contribute to diversifying the supply of green technology, supporting Vietnam's sustainable development strategy and circular economy in the coming time./.
