On November 20, Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Cong Anh, Chief of La Êê Border Guard Station, Da Nang City Border Guard, said that the unit had just coordinated with functional forces to promptly bring a pregnant woman who had difficulty giving birth and crossed the forest to a medical center to safely give birth.
At 0:30 on November 20, La Êê Commune Military Medical Station (belonging to La Êê Border Guard Station) received pregnant woman Bloong Thi My Van (18 years old, residing in Pa Oi village, La Êê commune, Da Nang city) 36 weeks pregnant, showing signs of impending birth.

Previously, at around 0:00 on November 20, pregnant woman Van showed signs of labor so her family took her to La Eê Commune Military Medical Station for delivery assistance.
After examination, the doctor determined that this was a difficult birth so decided to transfer the patient to Chal Val General Clinic, about 35km from the station.
In recent days, due to prolonged heavy rain, many sections of the road from the center of La Êê commune to Chal Val General Clinic have been severely eroded, making it impossible for vehicles to pass.
La Eê Border Guard Station mobilized 10 officers and soldiers to coordinate with local forces to use stretchers to transport the pregnant woman, and at the same time contacted Nam Giang International Border Guard Station (Da Nang City Border Guard) to use a car to pick up the group at the last traffic jam.
After 5 hours of trekking through the forest, the pregnant woman was taken to Chal Val General Clinic. At around 8:30 am the same day, Bloong Thi My Van gave birth to a baby girl, weighing 3.5 kg.
