52 houses collapsed, roofs blown off, affected by tornado

As of 5:00 p.m. on September 29, due to the impact of storm No. 10, 52 houses in the province were affected by natural disasters, including 3 houses in Minh Ngoc and Bach Dich communes that were completely damaged; 3 houses in Xin Man commune that were damaged from 70 to 90%; 46 houses in Minh Son, Lung Phin, Tan Tien, Giap Trung communes and Ha Giang 2 ward that were damaged from 10 to 70%.

The storm also damaged many welfare facilities: Hau Cau village school (Xin Man commune) had the roofs of 5 level 4 houses completely blown off; Kho village school (Minh Son commune) had 30-50% of the roofs blown off... In addition, many areas of crops and fruit trees were destroyed; some traffic routes were eroded and flooded , causing traffic jams.

Immediately after the disaster occurred, the Civil Defense Command of the communes sent officers directly to the grassroots to direct; assigned members to inspect the damage situation in the villages, and mobilized local forces to help people overcome the consequences of the disaster and stabilize their lives.
