Six residential and urban development projects near Ho Chi Minh City will be built in Long An province in 2025.

Six large-scale residential and urban development projects in districts of Long An province bordering Ho Chi Minh City have begun land leveling and construction work in 2025.

According to the plan for implementing key investment projects in Long An province in 2025, many new residential areas and urban areas will be built in districts bordering Ho Chi Minh City.

These projects have all received 1/500 scale planning approval and are currently undergoing environmental procedures, land procedures, construction procedures, and land clearance work to implement the investment.

Of these, Duc Hoa district has 2 projects.

This includes the Hau Nghia - Duc Hoa new urban area project, covering an area of ​​approximately 197.22 hectares and with a population of about 40,000 people, invested by Green City Development Joint Stock Company.

The Hau Nghia town residential project in Duc Hoa district covers an area of ​​approximately 17 hectares and is designed to accommodate a population of around 4,000 people. The project is invested in by the People's Committee of Duc Hoa district.

Both projects are currently in the inventory and surveying phase, preparing for land clearance, and are expected to begin site leveling and construction from Q4 2025.

The remaining 4 projects are located in Ben Luc district.

This includes an ecological urban, commercial, and tourism project covering approximately 220.05 hectares in Thanh Phu commune, Ben Luc district, with a projected population of around 29,185 people. The investor is a joint venture between DB Investment and Development Co., Ltd. and Ecopark Group Joint Stock Company.

The Thanh Phu - Tan Buu residential project in Thanh Phu and Tan Buu communes, Ben Luc district, covers an area of ​​approximately 143 hectares. The projected population is around 25,000 people. The investor is a joint venture between Hong Viet Joint Stock Company and Thang Long Construction and Real Estate Investment Company Limited.

The Mai Bá Hương residential project in Lương Hòa commune, Bến Lức district, covers an area of ​​approximately 140.22 hectares. The projected population is around 20,000 people. Tandoland Joint Stock Company is the investor.

The Luong Hoa residential project, also located in Luong Hoa commune, Ben Luc district, covers an area of ​​approximately 101 hectares. The projected population is around 17,000 people. Prodezi Joint Stock Company is the investor.

All four projects in Ben Luc district have completed land clearance and are currently in the land leveling and construction phase.

Additionally, in Can Giuoc district, Long An province, which borders Ho Chi Minh City, there is also the Five Star urban area project invested by the Five Star Group. Covering an area of ​​195 hectares, phase 1 has been completed, and subsequent phases will begin implementation in 2025.

In addition, several residential and urban development projects located in districts bordering Ho Chi Minh City have also received investment approval from Long An province. Procedures will continue in 2025 to plan for construction starting in 2026.

This includes the Tan My new urban area (930.89 hectares in Tan My commune, Duc Hoa district, with a population of approximately 80,969 people), the mixed-use residential, commercial and service area (85.198 hectares in Thanh Phu commune, Ben Luc district, with a population of approximately 4,800 people), the Phuoc Vinh Tay new urban area (1,089.6 hectares in Phuoc Vinh Tay commune, Can Giuoc district, with a population of approximately 89,960 people), and the Can Giuoc - North urban area project (95.94 hectares in Can Giuoc town).
