8 secretaries and 3 deputy secretaries of districts in Quang Nam asked for early retirement

(NLDO) - There are 26 cadres under the management of the Standing Committee of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee who have submitted applications for early retirement, including 8 district secretaries.

On February 10, Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Nam province, said that up to now, 26 people under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee have submitted applications for early retirement. Among them, there are 8 secretaries and 3 deputy secretaries of district Party Committees along with a number of leaders of departments and branches.

Mr. Dung said that with a high spirit of determination, sacrifice for the common cause, and seriously carrying out the assigned task of arranging and streamlining the apparatus in the most effective way, the cadres have submitted a request to the Standing Committee of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee for early retirement. In addition, early retirement also aims to create conditions for young cadres to continue to promote their intelligence and talent in response to the requirements of the current period.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee said that the Standing Committee of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee always acknowledges the contributions and dedication of officials and leaders of departments, branches and localities. "The request for early retirement is not due to any capacity or qualifications, but this is because the task is to arrange and streamline the apparatus" - Mr. Dung added.

Previously, on February 8, reporting at a working session with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh , Mr. Le Van Dung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province, said that there were 443 people who wished and submitted applications for early retirement or resignation, including 23 people under the management of the Standing Committee of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee.
